While on our spring break visit we walked around down town. There are many beautiful water fountains. This is of a lady playing a harp. Water comes out of the harp and look like the strings of the harp.
The streets go on forever with vendors of all sorts. There are painters, wood or stone carvings, jewelery, food, clothes, etc. It is so interesting to watch them make many different things. The girls loved shopping for necklaces and earrings. Josh loves a wood carved eagle he bought there.

What a great experience. Your kids will great such a great Cultural experience by being in Mexico. I'm glad you had a good time.
