I was trying to get this on with the butterfly entry but it wouldn't go so here it is now. This is our first trip to the butterflies. My next post will be our second trip which we were able to see a lot more butterflies because it was warmer and the sun was out.

San Miguel again?

Yes, we are here again. We love this town and it is only a short drive from our home. The market is fun to shop in.

Josh would have to check out everything and ask what he could buy.

The streets and town square are very beautiful. Anything you can think of you could find here.

What a fun market. The girls love the jewelry here.

Emmalee and George

Emmalee got to bring George home for the weekend and show him everything about her. We took pictures and then put them in a photo album to take back to school for all the kids to see what they did for the weekend. They had lots of fun together.

Our First Trip To The Butterflies

On January 31 we drove 3 hours to see the butterflies. It takes the Monarch butterfly five life cycles to make the full trip from the northern states to Mexico and back, but some how they go to the same place in Mexico every year. It is so amazing to see so many in one space. They are here only until the beginning of March and then they start the journey back into the northern states and Canada.
