First Day Of School

Everyone was nervous the first day of school. After having covered ALL there books in contact paper and filling their backpacks until they were too heavy that mom and dad would have to cover them we set off to school. It had rained so much that there were parts of the road that was ankle deep in water. It continued to rain most of the day but they still enjoyed their day at school.
We found their classes and met their teachers. They were all excited. At the end of the school day they had made lots of new friends and were excited to tell about their whole day. Marissa's teacher is from Canada and so we told her she should tell him she lived there for a year. eh. Emma will go back to school on Thursday and she can't wait. She says its the best ever. She likes princess school with all her friends.

Queretaro On A Clear Day!

The humidity leaves it looking like it is over cast but today it is beautiful. We had a hard time getting this picture because the kids said it was too bright. This is the aqueduct that goes to a convent behind Charles who is taking the picture. It felt wonderful. We have had rain just about everyday in the evenings. We decided to take the kids into town for Rachel's Birthday.
There are many fountains and statues downtown. It is fun to walk around and see the shops and vendors on the street. There are many good restaurants with live entertainment but its quite expensive so we only do that once in a while and then only with Charles and I.
We bought Marissa and Rachel purses with their name on the leather. You can see just a little of Rachel's at her side. I love to see all the crafts they make. Its easier to shop with out little ones though. They want to play and touch everything.

Just a quick note. The pictures taken for Rachel's party were in our house in the frontroom. Pretty cool. I really love our home here.

Rachel's 10th Birthday

I made a beautiful cake for her birthday and then......well.....we decided to keep it out of Zach's hands and so we put it in the oven. Hehe you know the rest. I made banana bread for Charles and now the icing is on the bottom of the cake but at least you can still eat it.

*This is inside our home in the frontroom

Autoliv Family Day

Family Day At Autoliv

It started at the Plant. Charles gave a speech and then they passed out awards to employees for perfect attendance and their 5 years mark. I thought Charles' speech to the company in Spanish was great. Then they had a tour of the plant and at the end they passed candy or a mask out to the children.
Welcome to Mexican Wrestling. We then left the plant to another location for the fun, food, and entertainment. They hired professional wrestlers to come. It was fun to watch. Josh was most excited to see Spiderman come to wrestle. It was a great day and wonderful to meet the people Charles works with.

Memory Tag

My Aunt Meredith had this on her blog. I thought it was a good idea so here we go.
MEMORIES!
Here's the drill (This one's kind of interesting...)1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Hanging Out

Just doing what dad does. Zach likes so swing but his bottom always works through the netting and he eventually is just hanging on. We could keep him here all day and he would be happy.
