3rd Trip to Bernal

We like going on the hike up Bernal. It is more beautiful after the rains. The rainy season should start sometime at the end of June. I think that is my favorite season here. It usually is nice in the morning and then rains in the afternoon and through the night. On the hike, Zach expected us to carry him and Emmalee would say she couldn't take another step but they would be just fine and could hike with out any problems if we gave them gum or treats.

This is a guy that sharpens knives. He rides around town on his bike, they usually whistle as the go and you stop them if you what your knives or anything sharpened.

This is an awesome hike I will take anyone on. I only made it half way because of Zach and Emma, but Charles, Marissa, Rachel and Joshua made it as far as you can go without rock climbing gear. It is a beautiful hike and to look out is amazing. It is the 2nd biggest mono lift in the world. Someone at Charles work told him they used this mono lift in "Close Encounters" movie, the mash potato hill. It is pretty amazing to see this rock with nothing around it. It looks like someone picked it up from somewhere else and dropped it there.
