Joshua's Baptism

On January 2, 2010 Joshua became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was baptised at 10:30am on a cold but beautiful morning. His Uncle Scott and Grandpa Nelson Witnessed the baptism. His Grandpa Leishman, Grandpa Nelson, Uncle Scott Leishman, Uncle Ted Vielstich stood in the circle while his Father performed the confirmation. Scott and Carrie were very kind to let us use their home for the baptism luncheon. Congratulation Joshua!

To School with Zachary

Here are some pictures Charles took of Zachary and Joshua in uniform. Zachary loves school and his teacher. Zach has learned a lot of things and he loves the art and computer classes.

I walked into the front room and all the kids are watching TV but Zachary. I ask what happen? Did he fall down? They laughed and said he had just laid the chair down and then fell asleep.

Happy Birthday Joshua!

Joshua had an awesome birthday. Below is video of the attempts to break the pinata. We started with blindfolds but then to try and break it faster we hit it without blindfolds on and it still took 1 hour to break the super spider man pinata. They sang that pinata song the whole time. I was really ready for bed that night. Joshua loves High School Musical and even gets into trouble in school for singing out in the middle of quiet study time. He has most of the songs memorized.

Joshua's Class Play

This is a habitat Joshua made for his animals at school. They learned about endangered and extinct animals. They learned a play and acted it out for the parents. Joshua is an endangered black Rhinoceros.

Emmalee liked how everyone had their face painted like animals and the songs they sung. Zachary just wanted to be anywhere else. Joshua did very good on his parts and I was very proud of his hard work.

They had a lot of fun and the parents enjoyed the time with their children. They talked about the animals habitat and how people hunt some of the animals. I was just amazed at the face painting.
