Fastest Move Ever

It is official that this is the fastest move Autoliv has had with moves to and from Mexico. They have had them take 4 to 6 weeks but ours happened in 12 days. Awesome!!! It is so wonderful to be in our home. We are still unpacking but most of it has been done and we have seen lots of the area.
As the boxers unwrapped some of the items they would throw the wrapping and boxes in a pile and it didn't take long for the kids to start building in them. Its was actually very cool under the boxes and paper. They had a lot of fun and I learned to tell the boxers the names of the rooms they were to go to. We had a good laugh as I would mix some of the names up. We have had a lot of people come to the door to either meet us or to ask for things and money. I have had to tell them I don't speak Spanish but I hope within the next few months I will be able to communicate with them. I feel like the missionary in "The Best Two Years" movie when he said "That not what they taught me in the MTC". But I was able to tell the housekeeper I was going to the store, so I am improving.

Our New Home!!!!

This is a rock wall that continues up to the second floor, 4 feet so you can look over into the room below. The door is to the guest washroom. I love the floors. They are all tile. No carpet in this house.
This is the best kitchen I have seen in all the homes we looked at in Mexico. They tend to be small because they usually have a servant cooking for them. Anything that deals with servants is usally small, such as laundry rooms being outside and small. But this house is great with the space for everything. Except storage which we will just use the maids room.
This is the front view of the house. Upstairs are two bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a small T.V. area which we will use as their toy play area. The master bedroom is on the main floor with the kitchen, dinning room, and family room. This is the back yard with a patio space and two trees. These are the children of my friend Andrea who lives down a couple streets from us. Our kids have bonded already from the visit in mexico just before thanksgiving. We are all excited to move to mexico.

Home Hunting In Mexico

Here are two homes we looked at. Charles continues to look for a place for us. I thought I would let you know our plans are still to move to Mexico in June. Charles is signing the kids up for school to start in the fall. We all can't wait to join him there. While we wait we are taking Spanish lessons and that seems to go slow but it is a lot of fun.
The ward in mexico that we plan to attend is full of wonderfull people. Charles has been attending there while he is in mexico. He has been called as Elder's Quorm President. We plan to take another trip there because the school wants to test and visit with the kids again. So we may be going in April during spring break. I look forward to seeing the area and people again.
