Wood Town

I really like this town. I have to laugh cause I never remember its real name, I just call it wood town. So far I have a queen bedroom set, coffee table and end tables and now I have ordered a table with four chairs. After each one we bought Charles will say no more but we can't help ourselves. They make beautiful, solid wood furniture that is hand carved. I like how they will stack everything up in their trucks to transport it to the different stores.

Mineral De Pozos

This town is known as a ghost town. In the 1800's it had 80,000 people. It was a big and wealthy town. They mined all types of metals and rocks. In 1970 the last mine closed and only 12 people lived in the town. It now has 5,000 people in town.

Its amazing to see how big some of the mine owner's properties were. It would have been cool to see what they looked like back then.

Hello Everyone

It has been crazy here. Charles has had the last week off so we have been traveling to areas and towns around us. There is so much to see and do here. I will be putting pictures up starting monday to tell about our travels. Today we are going to plant trees to reforest the area. Its a government project that the chruch is going to help with. So our stake and one other are the first to do this with the government. Thats pretty cool and we will help show what kind of people our chruch are. I hope you enjoyed the 4th and all the fireworks. We sure missed them. We love you.
