My brother Jeffery was married to Rachael on December 30 in the Vernal Temple. We are so excited to have her. Congrats you two. Melyssa had the great idea of making it a girls trip so we load the van with her three girls and I brought Marissa and Rachel. It was about a four hour trip but we had fun. They went swimming in the hotel pool, ate dinner with Grandma, Grandpa Nelson, Great Grandma Pat and Michael at Golden Corral. We then saw "Run don't walk" an old Cary Grant movie. What a fun girls night. In the morning Melyssa and I went to the wedding and the girls joined us for the wedding dinner. Thank you Melyssa for making this possible for us to attend. We had lots of fun.

First Time at Mexico Temple
This is Marissa's first time going to a Temple to do baptisms for the dead. Charles took her and Tonya to the Mexico City Temple. Charles was able to participate in the baptisms and confirmations for Marissa. What a special memory they have together. They had lunch in the cafeteria on the church grounds and Marissa will tell you the best part was the cake.

Mexico City Temple
We went to the Mexico City Temple open house. On the grounds here they have the MTC, dorms, distribution center, Church, visitor center, and Temple. The grounds are so beautiful. It is a peacefully place in the middle of a big town.
Family in front of the Temple
It took us four hours, waiting in line to see the Temple. It was a wonder thing to have the whole family walk through the Temple together and to talk to them about it. Emma wanted to see Heavenly Father and Jesus while we were there and couldn't understand why they were not there to say hi to everyone while we were there. We met Elder and Sister Wilson, who are serving a couples mission, while waiting in line. They are from Cache Valley and a wonderful couple we hope to see again when we move back home. They have been here long enough to know a lot of the language and even more of the missionaries that serve here.
The Temple is the biggest I have ever been in. It is so beautiful and the chandeliers are so amazing. I am excited to be able to do Temple work here. We hope to return soon. The Temple will be dedicated on November 16.

Local Pyramid
Charles went to a soccer game with a big group from work. He had a lot of fun. I just like the picture, he is so cute. They ended up on the news, they were all dressed alike. The group went to a taco place after. It was hard to find a place for all of them because everyone from the game had the same idea. Tacos are so good there, not anything like tacos in the states.Sunday, May 18, 2008
